Account Information
When you create an account we may collect:

- Username or profile name
- Basic profile information
This information allows us to create and manage your account.
User Content
Recs' allows users to share recommendations and other content related to travel and experiences.
Content you submit may include:
- Recommendations

This content may be visible to other users depending on how the feature is designed.
Device & Usage Information
We may automatically collect limited technical information including:
- Device type
- Operating system
- App version
- Crash reports
- Basic usage analytics
This helps us improve reliability and performance.
Notifications
If you enable push notifications, we store a device notification token so we can send alerts such as:
- When you receive a recommendation
- Updates related to activity in the app
Notifications can be disabled at any time through your device settings.
Subscription & Payment Information
If you subscribe to Recs' Premium, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment method, credit card number, or billing address.
We receive and store:
- Your subscription status (active, expired, or cancelled)
- The type of plan you are subscribed to (monthly or annual)
- Transaction identifiers provided by Apple for purchase validation
This information is managed through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service. RevenueCat processes subscription data on our behalf and does not use your data for any purpose other than providing its service to us. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Operate and maintain the app
- Provide core functionality

- Supabase — hosting, database, authentication, and storage
- RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase validation
- Apple App Store — payment processing for in-app subscriptions
- Analytics and crash reporting tools
These providers only process information necessary to perform their services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for advertising purposes.
Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the service.
If you delete your account, associated personal information will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable timeframe.
